Put this under the go figure category. I filed a f4 paper file MG last march and an efile last May. Efiles are supposed to be fast and efficient , paper file is slow and …..slow.
Not complaining, but the paper file F4 came through last week. Still waiting on the efile.

I did a paper Form 4 last December and it was approved in early November, so it took appx 11 months. Had to do that over an eForm 4 because it was an intra-state transfer with no FFL involved.

A dealer I regularly visit is receiving EForms from the March/April time frame.

Guys, FWIW. I got a disapproved on my Efile form 4 because of the address. The efile has no provision to edit so my SOT could do nothing. Make sure it has everything perfect before hitting the send button. Also the disapproval came after a 9 month wait. The other gun was paper file and done 3 months prior to the efile. It was approved after a 10 month wait.

Went into Bear Arms last Saturday, IIRC. They'd posted a sign on the door asking patrons to be patient. Seems they'd received hundreds of silencer approvals back from ATFE. Customers were overwhelming them on the phone, and in-person requests for pick-up.

My latest; I did a paper f4 in early October. It just came through approved. This is the fastest I have seen in 20 years.

That's crazy fast. I did a Form 4 suppressor in March 2023 and it was approved Monday this week. I thought that was fast.

Just got 2 eForm4's back on the same day. 1 was 28 days and the other was 35 days. Fastest I've ever seen personally.

Most of these were efiled Form 4s except one machine gun.
One suppressor filed in Sept approved last week.
Two more suppressors were filed in Nov. also approved last week
One machine gun paper F4 filed in Nov. approved in three weeks.

Still waiting on one submitted in Sept. and one in Dec
Just submitted four more last week...

I am getting ready buy a couple more tomorrow.

I just got 2 eform 4's today for my suppressors.
One submitted 01 Feb and the other 21 Feb (so 22 days and 2 days)..

I was shocked when I seen the emails from ATF saying I had a status change already.
