German Military Mauser HSc

Here is a Mauser HSc I found about 18 years ago in a Prescott gun shop one Saturday morning.
The name of a German soldier is inside the holster with a feldpost number. The pistol is in nice shape and has a spare magazine along with the original holster.

The feldpost number in the holster was assigned to a Luftwaffe signal company. This feldpost and signal company were located in France and ceased to exist on 06\11\1944 five days after the D-Day Landings.

Neat piece of military history. Guns without import marks are my favorite in the c&r world.

Cool piece of history for sure. Might we be finding this in the classifieds?

I paid too much for it when I bought it in 2002 not one I really plan on selling. Fun pistol to have and shoot once in awhile, I could not afford to replace it.

Side note, it works really well, it likes the hot S@B .32acp (7.65 Browning) The domestic stuff is not as hot and does not work as well.

I would buy another and definitely a modern production gun, the PPK always sold better so these guns never really got to be as well known and popular, they are really nice pistols.

There is one on Armslist right now. I believe the dealer is Chandler Pawn, on Arizona Ave south of Elliot, next door to the 7-11

Prescott with that VA Hospital and all those retirees had the best dresser drawer finds wander into the gunshops on a Saturday morning 20 years ago.
