When they were converting 1100/11-87's I was interested but then they went with some foreign made (Turkey or wherever) platform so now I have zero interest.

Well there is always the $1K Remington Tac-13 if you want to buy American.

Anyone actually bought one and ran a couple cases of ammo through it?

The owner of ShootersWorld has one, I'll ask him how many rounds he has thru it.
Doesn't look like aiming/control was high on the priority list in those videos, but it does seems to cycle.

Received the wood version. Put a folding brace on it. Fired the following >

1. 20 rounds Rem Express Magnum 00Buck ... ran flawlessly.
2. 5 rounds Rem Express 4Buck ... ran flawlessly.
3. 10 rounds of Rem Managed Recoil 00Buck ... failure to extract on all.
4. 10 rounds of Rio Reduced Recoil 00Buck ... ran flawlessly, but a bit slower.
5. 5 rounds Fiocchi Low Recoil 00Buck ... failed to extract on all.

I'll run more Rem Exp Mag when my shoulder heals. Maybe I'll put the birds head grip back on.

UPDATE >

Shot the following holding the pistol grip only and not using the brace.

1. 5 rounds Rem Express Magnum 00Buck ... ran flawlessly.
2. 20 rounds Hornady Critical Defense 00Buck ... ran flawlessly.
3. 5 rounds of Rem Managed Recoil 00Buck ... failure to extract on all.
4. 5 rounds Fiocchi Low Recoil 00Buck ... failed to extract on all.

Looks like I'll have to stay with the heavy loads for awhile. It was surprisingly easy to control.

On the rounds that failed to extract;...where you able to discern as to why they failed? What I have sometimes found with the Fiocchi brand is brass that swells outward where the extractor claw tries to grab but pushes it off the rim. Nearly rupturing, but not enough to actually do so. I've seen this even in simple single-shot guns.

Well actually, they did extract, but re-entered. There was not enough pressure to run the bolt fully back.

There are some reviews on YouTube. Reliability was seen as an issue with some. Apparently ammunition and/or spring related. But, no experience for me. I was looking that up just to see if they were reliable. The Remington V3 TAC 13 looks to be reliable, at least from reviews I've seen so far.
