The SXP are made by Instanbul Silah in Turkey, the 1300 was a US made gun. "Winchester" is just a licensed name. The SXP is a decent shotgun.

Thanks, but you didn't answer my 2nd question. What does the fact that the 1300 was manufactured in a different country than the sxp have to do with part interchangeability?

Some stuff interchanges. I used a Benelli extension on mine IIRC and put a Magpul buttstock on it. Gotta get a 1300 sidesaddle in and see if that fits
