Re: Shotgun Picture Thread!
It was in terrible shape when I got it.
Took a complete disassemble down to the finest parts, reanodize of the receiver, blast and park the barrel, find a pistol grip to replace the dog chewed one it had, and finish off with Guncoat in FDE.
I learned more about that shotgun than I never wanted to learn, but it’s been a jewel since.
One thing, it hates reduced recoil buck, it’ll shoot low wall brass all day, but something about the rr impulse causes it to FTF the next round.

Yes, it's got a Model 12 forearm on it; installed long ago by a PO. Someday I might change it back. I had the barrel shortened to 19", threaded for internal chokes and had the brass bead re-installed. I also shortened the stock ~1.5" and installed a trim-to-fit recoil pad as I prefer a shorter LOP. Shoots great, but it's having extraction issues at the moment. I'm sure it's a worn spring, but haven't had the time to look at it yet.

Almost as nice as Triggerfish's revolver. Almost
