I have a Canik TP9 standard model that i havent shot.
I had a chance to trade some stuff for a Canik TP9 SFX with a Trijicon RMR.

I have a few different Glocks,my benchmark for Polymer Handguns for me.
Today i took the Canik TP9SFX out the the range.
All i can say is WOW !!! The stock trigger in the SFX model is spectacular compared to
the Glocks, short reset and smooth. The Trijicon RMR makes hitting the targets so much
faster,i was blown away by this Gun with the Trijicon.Ammo disappeared in blazing speed.
I read this post about upgrades available,in my case.I cant think of anything to upgrade
on this pistol,it worked better than i thought it would.
This is my first handgun with a red dot, does wonder for my fuzzy old vision.
Highly recommended.
I'll keep an eye on this post, curious what upgrades are available for this to make it even better.

hmm, the only need i have found for mine is a taller front site, the red dot and i struggle at the onset of shooting period, but i do finally settle in on it, and wowza, nice shooter for sure, and accurate if one does their part, i enjoy the trigger as it is.
mostly due to the fact, i have a half dozen range shooters, each one has nuances to the trigger uses, some have been tricked out, and some area factory, and have found over the years, not all upgrades are the ''big deal maker''

best of luck, damm nice shooters for sure

Since it’s basically a ppq copy, you can use the Walther reduced trigger spring also..

i have one that I occasionally shoot in "carry optics division."... If your shooting in competition the Taylor/Freelance mag extensions give you 22 easy and are 100%. I have a Sprinco recoil spring set up if you need to buy one?... Century used to give you a lighter recoil spring if your shooting wimpy loads that's the only complaint I've ever heard from competition shooters (recoil spring is too heavy, causes jams). ...These pistols are very accurate even without the use of a "red dot". The upgraded trigger is a good investment. Mike
