AR9 -- What else do I need?
Ok, so I have a 9mm barreled upper and a standard Spikes AR lower. The upper has no bolt and the lower doesn't have a magwell adapter. I know I need a BCG and magwell adapter, but what does everyone suggest? Where should I buy the parts from? I'm not looking to break the bank, but I do want to complete this thing.

They probably are the best bet. Also, for a less expensive option, check out UnbrandedAR.com.
Also, you don't need a magazine well adapter if you don't want to. Check out Endo Mags from MEAN Arms. I use their magazine adapters and they work great.

They are 9mm specific buffers. Most of the required weight is actually in the 9mm bolt carrier itself.hotwheelsjr wrote: ↑April 16th, 2020, 10:02 pm Thanks -- I also need a buffer and spring. What weight buffer do I need?
I run a standard M4 buffer spring in my 9mm setup, zero issues.

and make sure the bcg is ramped i have a couple carbines and they are having issues with trigger pins and triggers, due to slamming into them.
i'm trying to find someone to ramp my present, but may end up finding already ramped units to resolve my issue, best of luck, sure are fun rascals

You could always reach out to KE Arms here in Az. They do 9mm ARs.
Re: AR9 -- What else do I need?
Look I know a lot of people that do ar 9's. Most are not cheap. New frontier armory is the only one I know that's cheaper than most
