AR9 -- What else do I need?

#1

Post by hotwheelsjr »

Ok, so I have a 9mm barreled upper and a standard Spikes AR lower. The upper has no bolt and the lower doesn't have a magwell adapter. I know I need a BCG and magwell adapter, but what does everyone suggest? Where should I buy the parts from? I'm not looking to break the bank, but I do want to complete this thing.

They probably are the best bet. Also, for a less expensive option, check out UnbrandedAR.com.

Also, you don't need a magazine well adapter if you don't want to. Check out Endo Mags from MEAN Arms. I use their magazine adapters and they work great.

They are 9mm specific buffers. Most of the required weight is actually in the 9mm bolt carrier itself.

I run a standard M4 buffer spring in my 9mm setup, zero issues.
