Glock Grip Frame reduction, locally?

#1

Post by Sod »

Is there a reputable shop locally that can remove the hump on my G34? If not I may just end up replacing it with a Sig or S&W. I get tired of trying to locate the red dot when I bring it up. It is just not a natural pointer for me.
Thanks

Just an alternative suggestion would be to perhaps try a Grip Force Adapter on your Glock. It won't remove the hump obviously but the adapter fills the grip at the top to make the gun point more naturally. They're cheap to try and you won't butcher the gun so it'll be easier to resell if you do decide move to another gun platform later on.

I had never liked Glocks but after using these adapters I can now live with Glocks well enough to own and shoot them. With the adapters you'll still have a bulky grip but the gun points so much better. At least it works well for me.

John Hobbs did the best job at that.

Another reason to miss the guy and be reminded of the loss.

I'm curious about someone locally also if they are good. I had finger bumps and rear hump removed then a nice stipple by Cold Bore Custom, but he took forever to finish the job.

I may give the Grip Force adapter a shot. it is only $20 and it is not a permanent mod.

Robar is closed
Poly 80 does not make a Gen 4 frame
Cold Bore is a year wait
I looked at "plead the second" website. Pass! https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-5nxmngw ... mbypass=on

Thanks for the replies.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised on how much it changes the grip angle to feel more like a 1911. It won't be slim so it'll still feel bulky but the grip angle will feel more normal.
