Man - these things are just fun. I've built 3 now, just because I like building them!
Place holder while I figure out how to upload pics.

Whats the best way to get the parts for a reasonable price? I buy a g17 one a few years ago and always ball when I look for parts and find them all sold out or overpriced

Building these isn’t about price, it’s about customization, and for others, having something off the “books”.

Big bump. I tried searching before posting. What p80 frames have you built?

I'm on the fence about these. I want to build one but the cost is holding me back.

It’s not for everyone, but if you like to build stuff it sure is fun. Plus the grip is really nice compared to factory Glock.

Can somebody without fancy tools, like a drill press and table router, build one of these? I'm interested!

Pretty much all you need is a drill/dremel and some hand files/sand paper. Don't rush, and it is a piece of cake.

This is a case where "YOU TUBE" is your friend and an easy way to see how it needs to be done. Seeing how my P80 didn't come with any real instructions.

But as been said, "don't rush, just take your time and work at your own pace. be careful of your parts kit as my disconnector was bent wrong and needed a little plier action to make it fit right.

I love mine did a semi budget build on it with the rock slide USA complete slide with Burris fast fire 3 cut and 3 vent slits cut up front. It runs great only issues i have really had is finding a good holster to fit it. Ended up having a kydex one made locally for $40 specifically for the p80 with optic. I wish i never drilled the gen1 17 frame for some reason theybare selling for stupid high now
