Never Mind (grips for Model 12 narrow frame)

Post by smithers599 »

I have a Smith & Wesson Model 12-2, which has a more narrow frame than other K-frame revolvers. Most aftermarket grips don't fit the narrow frame. (I would like grips that fill in the gap between grip frame and trigger guard.)

Question 1: Do you know of a grip maker that makes grips specifically for the narrow-frame Model 12?

Question 2: Do you know if a Tyler T-Grip or similar adapter will fit a narrow frame Model 12, or are the bendable brass "ears" set too far apart?

Thank you.

I just found an ancient (1960s?) Pachmayr grip adapter in the musty old parts bin, and it fits fine. Problem solved.
