I liked the hammer strike on the slide and it fired.

Forgive my semi necro posting but it is sounding like FN hired 100 year old namboo pistol designers to make their 509.

I have an FNS-40 and gunsmith hammer, will have to try this out this weekend.

FN would have looked much better by just fixing the issue without the lawyers controlling the response. Just like Remington, s*** like this is unacceptable.
