New Kahr X9! ... it takes P365 mags

Post by electrohawk »

So I have seen articles and YT videos on this and am kind of excited.

Long before the P365, the Kahr PM9 was my favorite carry piece. I still have a few in that series.
The PM9 was so slim and pocketable, it also had what I felt was the best striker trigger out of the box.
Plus, I was very accurate with it.
The only reason stopped carrying it, was the the P365 was pretty much the same size, with much more capacity. The Kahr also had this little thing with sling-shotting that it would not 100% chamber a new mag in certain situations. I do believe a different follower did fix that eventually.
But the mag capacity eventually moved me.

Now comes the X9, runs on a P365 mag. If the trigger is as good as it was before and it is as accurate as before, I will probably go back.

Any other Kahr fans interested?

I carried a PM9 Elite for years. I never understood why Kahr didn't get more respect, I can't wait to get my hands on one in the wild. Grip looks really fat in that pic.

Compared to the PM9, the grip does look kinda fat.
I cant image that in hand it would be much wider from the P365 grip.
The palm swell, or maybe the web in cut does look more significant than either a PM9 or P365 though.
