A few days ago I heard that the Glock 19 patent expired. Is that why there are clones coming out now? Has anyone got more info? Who makes the best clone?
Thanks
Thom

The Gen3 patent rant out several years ago, in 2018 (Generation 3 Glocks were introduced in 1998. Patents last for 20 years). Clones have been around since 2019.

Trigger sucks though. I bought a lower combo, deal was too good to pass up.

Meh. Put an aftermarket unit in and quit bitchin'.. They are G clones. You get the G "perfection" experience...kenpoprofessor wrote: ↑October 29th, 2022, 2:11 amTrigger sucks though. I bought a lower combo, deal was too good to pass up.

I've built a GST-9 and a couple p80s. The sticker on the GST-9 is kinda spicy now. I got it as a pre-buy when they first introduced them. It's nicer than the P80s though.
