^It is a 114 y.o. industrial design that still looks perfect.^
J.M.B. did pretty good job 111 years ago too.
(though this example is only from 1994)

Smith & Wesson Model 39-2
Manufactured in 1981 per serial number
If it was one of you here that had it consigned over at Alpha Dog, you have my sincere thanks. I’ve been looking for one of these in such fine condition for some time, but everyone had them priced way above actual value.

Dude, I came THIS CLOSE to getting that one for myself. I noted that the mag with it was aftermarket, but how about the spare? Also noted that the mag-disco was already neutered.

Re: Semi-auto Handgun Picture Thread!
So I took it out for a quick testfire after a match this morning.
Oh My!!
One mag is aftermarket, the other is factory. Both worked without issue running 115gr FMJ with POA/POI being on at 10yrs (shooting stuff on the backstop).
@pneuby you missed out!

I had Overwatch Precision install (free while-you-wait/10 min.) the POLY-DAT trigger yesterday. Shot it this AM... what a GIANT improvement over the OEM.
