And now she is done .. damn that is one clean looking design ... forgetting about my sloppy gun grease .. the design of that damn gun is pretty damn beautiful in a No BS kinda way. Oh and it shoots so nice!!!!

Sig 229 40S&W DA/SA with Grayguns flat adjustable trigger, SRT kit and now Dull green aluminum grips. Only thing that messes with me is I got the slotted screws .. you know for all that field stripping I will have to do in the field

and the slots not lining up are making me kind of nuts!

Go buy some tiny tiny O-rings at Home Depot or Ace Hardware that just barely fit around the grip screws. Tighten the screws until the slots are lined up. The tension of the O-rings will keep everything in place.

For example: https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts ... 08311.aspx

Recently purchased a nice Kimber 45 custom.. After about 50 rounds I realized my wrists can not handle 45s any longer. Damage from being in the floor covering (linoleum) trade all my life.
So wanting a 1911 I could also carry I ended up with this Springfield Arms EMP 4 CC.
Passed my 100 yard 10" gong at the range test... KEEPER

While I have not had it out for a long while, yes it does shoot quite nicely. It sits in a beautiful Del Fatti holster when it does get out.

It is retrofitted with an SD card reader, and I have just about every piece of software for the system including Golden Axe.

The retro computing community is a strong, fun one. It is amazing the amount of support and new products (like SD / USB card readers) that are out for most 70s/80s computers.
