Glock Magazine by Magpul Any Good ?
I know magpul makes decent AR magazines , but are the ones they make for Glocks any good ?
Are they worth buying or should I stick with original Glock magazines ?

I haven't put them through the wringer yet, but the ones I traded into (used when I got them about 4 years ago) have not proved problematic. Despite not having metal feed lips, they seem alright.

For range use, I almost exclusively use those Magpul Glock 17 magazines. I have 20 or so of them, and I haven't had a single failure yet. I probably just jinxed myself, didn't I?

Glock magazines are cheap, plentiful, and 100% reliable to use exclusively.

They're GTG, but ultimately decided to stick with OEM in my Glocks.

Re: Glock Magazine by Magpul Any Good ?
I never had a problem with the 5 I used for my G34 in competition, 4k-5k rounds through them.
But, I never had an issue with OEM Glock mags either...so, I'd call it a push. I liked the Magpul mags over OEM because they are so much easier to take apart in the field, no tools needed. However, the Magpul mags aren't steel lined, so I couldn't use my magnetic retention on my comp belt.
I can't think of a single Magpul product that hasn't met my expectations, so I consider them to very squared away, in general.

I bought one the other day to try out in my pcc. For half the price of OEM, I intend to by a couple more. They will be the ones to hit the range floor for reloading practice, LOL.

Been using the Magpul Glock mags for a bit now. Mostly for range and for the toys. No issues with them ever. The OEM Glock mags have gone up in price so the 2-3 magpuls for 1 glock mag make them attractive for range use. For serious work and daily carry only OEM Glock mags for me. Buy as many and as often as you can. Remember the 90's when a G17 mag was $120.00 or more. Rather have 10 P-mags than one G-mag.....

Re: Glock Magazine by Magpul Any Good ?
The ones that I have were all purchased about a year ago, and again, no issues at all. No bulging. No failure to feed. They have been 100% in my experience, and I've put thousands of rounds through them.
The FB post that you referenced was from some time ago, and the videos were from a few years ago as well. It sounds like Magpul made some tweaks over the years, so I don't know if they revised the magazines since then to iron out all of the issues. Either way, for the price, you can't go wrong for range mags.

I purchased a couple of them when they first came out.
After looking them over I didn't even try them, just gave them to a friend and will stick with OEM.

The first version had some problems.
The second release corrected the problems. I’ve probably got 100 or so of them for range/training use. Never had a problem with them.

Re: Glock Magazine by Magpul Any Good ?
I have about 30 Glock mags but only 3 factory. All the rest are MagPul and never had a problem with any of them. I have a few ETS mags and they are range only. Had some problems with follower breaking and not feeding or dropping free. The MagPuls have been 100 % and I do carry them not just range or matches.

Re: Glock Magazine by Magpul Any Good ?
I'm glad to hear that others are having a great experience with those Magpuls. I'm not using mine for carry like superduty, but with how flawlessly they've performed, I honestly wouldn't be opposed to it. Now, if they only made 33 round mags as well.
