Re: Revolver Picture Thread!
Thank you.
My 60 I bought @ SAR Show, had mirror polished by S&W P.C., and finally engraved by S&W (and Colt) Master Engraver Wayne D'Angelo for my 60th B-day:

Very nice work. How long does it normally take them to complete the engraving?TriggerFish wrote: ↑February 1st, 2020, 9:11 am Thank you.

Re: Revolver Picture Thread!
Mine took just under a month and a half due to Wayne's workload.

Smith and Wesson Pre-lock 685-5. Very smooth factory trigger.

Re: Revolver Picture Thread!
And again in order to keep this thread going---- I found this picture the other day in an old laptop of a pre-Model 29 that I had sold off many years ago right before I retired. This is one of the few guns I really wished I hadn't gotten rid of. I didn't have the original black presentation case for it but I did have a partial box of some of the early original Remington 44 Mag ammo. Anyway, here's an early S&W 44 Magnum with a 6 1/2" barrel from 1957.

And another one I sold off from around retirement time, However, I don't miss this one as much as my wrists and hands don't miss the beating it dished out. It was pretty brutal on recoil when I had gotten older although it was the absolute best built revolver I had ever owned.
An early Freedom Arms Premier Grade 454 Casull that had the gold bead front sight and express V rear sights.

Re: Revolver Picture Thread!
I’m new here. Thought I’d share some revolvers I have. The Rugers on the right are all 45 colts, the Rugers on the left are 22lr and the lone S&W is a 22lr also. I enjoy the 45 colts, they are fun to load for and can be loaded mild enough my wife and daughters enjoy shooting them too. Fun thread, though I would add to it.. Everyone loves 22s too.

Re: Revolver Picture Thread!
New shoes on my old favorite ...
I dont know why but this gun always seems to be the one that gets first call. Hiked and ridden many many miles .. has several thousand rounds fired down range and it seems to put bullets where I think about it. Not nearly as nice or as accurate or as anything as my new model 28 but I dont worry about breaking it or marring it ... its my go to ... and if I cant get it done with 6 rounds of well placed .357 it just wasn't meant to be
She aint fancy .. but I trust she will get it done and I feel comfortable when she is around!!
