S&W SD40VE trigger
I have a Smith SD40VE. The VE stands for Very Economical, and it shows. It's not a bad pistol, but it's definitely not my favorite. My biggest complaint is the trigger. The trigger creep is huge! I could almost make a sandwich in the time I start to pull the trigger till the time it fires. I see there are spring kits for about 20 bucks that are supposed to help this. I'm just wondering if it works. Does anyone have any experience with this particular handgun?

I have one also and I'm thinking of getting the spring kit. I could have made the same post. Watching for someone to comment.

Re: S&W SD40VE trigger
I had one of these years ago. You pretty much nailed it with the Very Economical. It always went bang but with a little looking a police trade in Glock or M&P could be had with much better parts. I bought mine and had it as a truck gun then sold it to a good friend that needed a cost effective house gun. Hard part was finding a light that would fit that stupid rail cut on the early generations...
For 20$ the spring kit might be worth it. But at what point is the juice not worth the squeeze?
