Picked this up off layaway today. CZ has discontinued these, so I think this 2022-manufactured example must have been in the tail end of production. Certainly a large, heavy beast that I'll probably use as a range/plinking/fun gun.
As I've been reminded, a Glock 21 will do the same job cheaper, probably just as accurately, and with more rounds in the mag. Probably can't argue that, but to me it's one of those "I just like it" purchases

I always wanted to check out a 97 but none of the shops in my area ever had them. Apparently they weren’t popular enough to stock, but I get nervous ordering a .45 I’ve never been able to handle with my hand size. Hope you enjoy it!

They never really caught on that much. They are heavy, and they are a pretty big gun, and only 10 rounds of .45 acp unfortunately.

I've got a CZ 9999 9mm that I got from my dad (r.i.p.), I've neve even shot it. I need to exercise it some day!
