Looking at purchasing an AK, will probably go the PSA route since it’s my first go at 7.62, cheap enough and I trust em.

I’ve heard people b**** and complain about about a lack of cleaning rod on most Modern AK rifles. Do you really use it? I wouldn’t want to jam a metal rod into my barrel.

hmm, just wonder why they complain about not having one, hmmm some thought here might assist in the answer.
