Rock River Arms AR-15's
Anyone have any positive/negative experiences with this particular brand? Looks like a lot of their AR's have the Wylde chambering.

They tried to sell out Illinois gun owners along with Springfield, even going as far to delete all their social media due to the massive hate filled responses from people.

I have a LAR-15 and a LAR-9. Both are excellent rifles. After there political shenanigans I wouldn't buy from them now.

Used to be ok with them wouldn't go out my way looking for their products. Did like their 2 stage trigger. But now days so much better quality products out there and better prices. Shop around and research

I have an older Elite Operator. Nice rifle, never any problems. Didn't know about their shenanigans until just now. That's unfortunate to hear.

Re: Rock River Arms AR-15's
I have an Rock River Arms LAR-9 that I bought back around 2009. It's been an excellent AR 9 MM carbine. I chose it over the Colt because Rock River machines their 9 MM lowers as a dedicated 9 MM. Where as Colt presses in a block in the magwell. I'm not interested in ever changing it over, so the LAR-9 was the logical choice. It accepts and feeds 32 round magazines from Colt, Metalform, and even the cheap plastic models from Pro Mag run without a hitch.
I fitted mine with a Vltor E-Mod stock, Ergo Tactical Grip, (not shown), and a 4-Rail forend from Midwest Industries. If you get one, regardless of the make, be sure to purchase an UpLula magazine loader, or else you'll break your fingers and thumbs trying to load the 32 round mags.
