I like that adjustable stock idea. Most OEM stocks, especially on .22s, are too short for folks with long arms.

I'm not sure if she has a real price in mind, or if after all of this she'll just put it back in the corner of the closet for another 10 years. I'll ask if she has a target (pun intended) in mind. When my father asked, he told me she said something to the effect of "whatever it's worth." Which either means she really doesn't know or have a target in mind, or has some sort of vision of its value that may be more abstract.

It's a nice feature that allows the rifle to grow as the kid does.
Interestingly enough I had the opposite problem. My wife is so small that even the short .22 stocks were too long. Had to find one that would collapse shorter then a 10/22's.Most OEM stocks, especially on .22s, are too short for folks with long arms.
