Acquired a M2 version while in RVN. The darn thing would not fire on full auto. Did a bit of tweaking on the disconnector and got it working.
Some grunts at the ammo dump managed to find a pallet of Carbine ammo for me. Handy little thing. Planned on bringing the fire control back home to plug into a surplus rifle, but luckily sold the rifle before leaving.

I'd like to get my hands on a pallet of Carbine ammo!
Or, I wish I would have bought a ton more of brass from Jeff Bartlett back when he had it for $60/1K. Ah, the good old days...
