Almost done with Space Cowboy build…

Discuss rifles, carbines, and other long-arms here (AR-15's, AK's, etc...)

I'm on a similar mission, but in 44mag. I've got a blacked out Redhawk and absolutely NEED a model X to match. That is the last gun on my "must own" list...not counting MGs. My co-worker has one he won in a raffle. I've tried just about everything to get him to trade me for it...
…bug has me pretty well bitten with this build. 44mag, 45LC or a 45/70 will be added if/when they present themselves…only prerequisite is a loading side gate - that’s what kept me from adding a Henry for so damn long

No it's Italian. Maybe it can count as a spaghetti western though?

If it has to be American definitely a super blackhawk. To me those are blank canvasses you can really get looking good.
Super Blackhawk is one I hadn’t considered…thank you for another excellent suggestion! Prefer to keep my $ out of China - so an Italian in not out of the question…how’s the trigger in a Chiapa anyway?
Unfortunately nothing to write home about. Had a buddy that had one of the first ones to hit the states. It was definitely heavier than a Smith but I know they have trigger kits out for them.

Kinda has a stealthily look. Tight build!

Drop me a line if you see one come available locally - more than open minded about trying something out of the box…definitely fits the ‘space Cowboy’ motif

I have a Marlin CST in .38/.357 and yeah, with light wad-cutter target loads, its nearly as quiet as a suppressed .22!

I describe it as "mouse fart" quiet.

My GP100 is blued with a 5" barrel. Fantastic gun. Many many years ago I traded for it... I gave them a first generation SW9 Sigma for it. For once in my life I'm definitively the winner... :-)
