What I like most about it and that I think is the most significant feature, Ruger barely even talks about, which is the3-position gas regulator gas-block.

How would this compare to a Sig 716i? Been offered a trade but don’t know much about the gun. Should I hold and go Ruger?

Here's an entire upper for cheap, throw it on lower of your choice, go bang, enjoy the smell of burnt gunpowder.

I picked one up, I always wanted an AR-10 but am really like the AR-15 size of this SFAR. I have only taken it out once to sighted in at 45yrds, but that went quite well. The only down side I have found so far is the muzzle break concussion is unpleasant, especially for spectators.

I will say the trigger on mine is fantastic, has to be the best factory AR trigger I have felt that was not a drop in pack. Breaks consistently on my cheap Wheeler scale at 3.5lb.
