I was a bit surprised but can confirm the SFAR works with standard AR charging handles. The BCG is nearly the same size as a standard AR BCG.

Re: Ruger's new AR-10 platform
I've been looking into this gun and I'm really liking it. I've always had a penchant for 308 battle rifles from the older legacy guns like the FAL to the AR's and even newer designs. I'm especially liking this Ruger because of the adjustable gas system feature as well as the lighter weight.
Really the only negative to the gun are the proprietary parts involved such as the bolt. However, that comes with the territory due to its unique compact design. Its just going to be an issue of trying to get Ruger to sell any spares, such as an extra bolt. The ready parts availability of all the AR parts is one of the biggest assets of the AR-15 and AR-10.
Of course, I have that same issue with the proprietary parts in the S&W M&P10. Like Ruger, they'll repair the gun if you send it in but asking to buy any parts is like pulling teeth.

Bear Creek Arsenal is total junk, and its assembled by illegal aliens. The company was even raided by ICE.kenpoprofessor wrote: ↑September 8th, 2022, 10:31 am Here's an entire upper for cheap, throw it on lower of your choice, go bang, enjoy the smell of burnt gunpowder.

Been a long time since I've jumped on the site. Browsing and saw this thread. I only have a few rounds through it, but I'm enjoying the rifle thus far.

Well Happy Birthday! The scope to barrel length ratio looks 1:1, nice!
