I picked one up, not knowing much about them. Anyone have one or have any feedback on them? Ammo is kinda pricey. Got it with with a 100rds for $200.

Great little rifles. With the right ammo can be very accurate. Sounds like you got a great deal.

I don't have a Marlin, but that seems like a great deal. The .17hmr has become a favorite of mine. I bought a bunch of ammo when thing were affordable luckily. I'm kinda saving it for small game rather than just taking it out and shooting a bunch.

17HMR is solid for coyotes and all smaller animals.

Hopefully ammo prices are not outrageous. Haven’t bought 17hmr since 2020 just before things got wild

Wow. I was paying $15 in 2010

If a guy shot 17HMR, ate Costco hotdogs and drank AZ ice tea he could beat all the inflation.

Great hunting round. Too pricey for plinking.

I’ve had a few. Ruger 77/17, Cooper 57LVT, and now a CZ 455 American.

Yep. You are right. Paid $3.99 the other day and somehow that felt like a strange win.

Agreed, sad that sub $5 seems like a good deal. Until I go fill up the RV 65 gal tank.

Had a 917v. Swapped out the trigger to a Riflebasics model; what a difference. Was a real tack driver but decided it was cheaper to shoot 223 reloads that keep feeding it.
