Mossberg Patriot Night Train .308

Picked up one of these cheap, looking for pros, cons, etc.????

Barska 6-24-50 scope, seems well built. Adjustable trigger, breaks like glass at 2lbs  Super smooth action on the bolt, like a high dollar machine and not a Mosin Nagant :o

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

I score quite a few from the ones near me, but I go in them almost weekly scoping the deals. That particular rifle I had looked at Sat. and decided if it was still there when I drove by again, I'd pop in and get a good price, and I did. I have been looking for a moderately priced bolt gun in .308 for a couple of years now, never could seem to find what I wanted, well, until now :o

LOL, yes, but it came with the gun, so it's not something I had to buy. It'll work for what I want to do with the gun, it's not a "precision" rifle where everything has to be all hoohaa and fancy.

With all due respect:

I’ve been spoiled being born when I was, I’m sure you have looked down some really funky scopes back in the day.
