Looking for an older accurate 22 rifle.... Suhl has been mention among others. (Grandpa guns?). Only problem seems to be that there's not much too be found ie: covid .... Were to look locally since there are no "gun" shows. Tips, leads?.... Thanks, Mike

This is one of those things where visiting the yard sales regularly can pay off. I can't tell you how many times I've run across folks with "old guns" who know nothing about them except that gramps never wanted to get rid of it.

Yes, you have to sift through a lot of junk to find the occasional jewel,...but I find it fun.

Try AJI for a shot. They usually have some older 22s around.

The problem with Grandpa guns, a lot of them are just plain shot out.

If you know a gunsmith you can trust, they can bore out the barrel and glue in a riffled tube back into the barrel, but that may be more than the cost of the gun.

A lot of searching, asking and legwork.
I found my 2 Suhl standard here on the boards long ago.
My winchester 75 in Prescott recently.
My Schultz and Larson 22lr in Kingman (iirc)
BSA Martini in sun city

Lot of legwork
