"The best thing about MLOK rails is the fact you can install whatever you want on the rail without taking the whole thing off."
False.
I don't know why people keep stating this lie over and over again. In order to get it to tighten you have to apply a cresent wrench to hold it in place. Everything I've added I have had to remove the rail and do the steps as above, which is the opposite of what I had to do with picatinny ones.
I dunno, maybe I am missing something here.

You may be missing something, The proper nuts have a cam on them so that when tightening once they rotate 90 deg they lock in the slot and quit turning. It can be difficult to get them set in the slot if your screw is long, it may require pulling the accessory away from the gun to get it locked properly while tightening the screw. You also want to verify the nut did rotated 90 deg after insertion. I have had some installs where it did not rotate before tightening and the accessory could be yanked out.
It is probably not a cut and dry easy as they make it sound but it is definitely doable.
I have never had to use an additional wrench on the nut or take the rail off.

Slimmer design but would have taken MLOK over keymod.

Only issue I've had with MLOC is on thinner guards. The nuts can hit the barrel when installing. It's not like removing the guard is a PITA though.

My preference is keymod, but it looks like mlok is going to eventually win out. I guess I can live with that but it would be nice if keymod remains well-supported for the long haul.

Yep, just you, LOL.
MLOK installs take a little finesse at first, but once you get them down like Brlux stated, they’re as solid as they’re going to be while also maintaining a slimmer, lighter rail. Keymod is like a cheese grater if you don’t use rail covers and/or gloves, worse even than Picatinny IMO. They all work, but MLOK is the superior system if you’re going for slim/light.

I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the MLOK.
They work just like they say they will.
Here is a video that shows an easy way to do it.
So easy a caveman can do it.

It's just you.
If you can't figure out MLOK, I have concerns about the rest of your life.

Ooooooooooooooooh!
LMAO I watched another video where the magpul guy was just spinning the t nut in place at shot show and I was like "um, it's not working like that." Now I see that it has to be tightened all the way down.

I just recently ended up with something that has mlok on it rather then a rail. I built all my previous at stuff back before mlok was popular so they have quad rails on them. Mlok isn’t a bad setup just have to get the hardware set right which is pretty simple.

I'm actually doing ok.
My mom brings me hot pockets and snacks whenever I need them and I have no rent or bills.

In 2021, I would consider other options.
I would not pick quad rail or cheap plastic.
That quad rail has been on the Bushmaster over 10 years.
The cheap plastic has been on the COLT over 10 years.
