Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
I put a Fostech echo 2 in a DPMS AR-15. Lots of fun! Semi-practical for two round burst. Liked it on a bipod at the Big Sandy - made tracers fun at the aerial targets. Went ahead and bought a USGI (Cheap Palmetto) bolt and now upgraded to a H2 buffer because I was encountering issues (not often for fun but want better reliability). I have not tried it yet with the heavier buffer.

Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
The echo doesn't have the binary overrun problem on AR's. it's really fun for 2-3 round bursts, yet the Echo semi auto trigger feels better than Binary trigger on AR's. My Binary in my MP5 is spot on but stupid money, however.NBC_LT wrote: ↑April 14th, 2020, 10:22 am I put a Fostech echo 2 in a DPMS AR-15. Lots of fun! Semi-practical for two round burst. Went through a few hundred rounds in both a 16in and pistol AR with no issues.

Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
I have the Echo and double taps are very effective. Press/release is faster than any semi only trigger. With the option of semi only makes this an ideal setup in my opinion.
Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
That Echo trigger looks pretty slick

Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
I have a Franklin binary in a 9mm AR. Purely for fun, and it’s not something I would rely on for home/self defense.

He thinks it will get him access to the classifieds. It won't. And I went and deleted a bunch of his useless posts.

These will probably end up going the way of the Bump Stock.

Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
It's just a gimmick. Perhaps fun to play with, but nothing I'd consider actually keeping on a rifle/whatever.
Train with a mil-spec. Get good. Then get a Geiselle or something equivalent if you want something nicer.

I was thinking about getting the HK one but then saw the price is $699.00!

Re: Franklin Binary Triggers
That’s my thought exactly, but they would be wrong. Even the pistol braces for the HKs seem to be the most expensive ones.
