"scope correctness", I guess it depends on what your goal is for the rifle. If you're a cloner & want to keep & experience it in a specific configuration (just like if you built a clone of an older rifle with iron sights), then keep the 10x & see how far you can effectively use it. If you're wanting a precision shooter, then go for bigger glass and keep the 10x in case you sell it to a cloner in the future. There's no wrong answer, IMO.
Thanks for the loading data Abbey and the idea of getting a higher magnifying scope. I thought about that but the mount assembly is painted like the rest of the rifle and inspecting it I feel it would mess up the finish on the mount. So I'll probably try to see what I can do with the 10X Leopold that is on it.
