Thanks!! It’s my first time up there, but I have a good source of knowledge in my father-in-law, who’s been up there a lot since he killed his first Kaibab deer in 1973.

Managed to get three 24B tags, love that unit but the fires are making it hard. But I will say you don't have to go far to get away from the traffic! Good luck and enjoy!

Got a 30A muley tag. Now the question is, which rifle to take? 30A is in the BP warning area. So, do I take the AR in 6.5 CM, the SOCOM M1A, or one of my LR bolt guns with the Glock 35 in 357 SIG for close in work? BTW- looking for a hunting partner for the hunt.

I’m a jealous man
I didn’t get drawn for anything this year.
Might just have to grab a deer archery tag and get a winter hunt in

I have hunted down by the border my whole life and have never had any problems whatsoever with illegals during a hunt.
When you have 100's of hunters walking around the hills with guns the last thing an illegal wants is to confront them.
The drug runners sure don't want to be in the area when everyone out there is looking through binoculars at every bush and tree in the country.
Not to mention all the Border Patrol running around.

I am not saying I haven't seen them , but I have never had any problems with them.
