Crappie at Rosy?

#1

Post by jdrautoworks »

Anyone done any good for Crappie at Rosy, heck for that anywhere in the past month?

Finishing up the boat getting ready for spring, hopefully we'll be able to get on the lake(s) given the current situation...

Thanks!

JDR

I caught a few on crankbaits while fishing for bass at Rosy. When I actually tried for crappie, all I caught was bass. I see they are catching quite a few of them at Bartlett right now though

My neighbor caught this at Roosevelt on Friday. 64 pounds. The area below the bridge.

The stringer in its mouth was from when some other guys caught it earlier last week and it got away.

Never did make it out transom on the boat was rotted so now I'm tearing it down... I guess not a bad thing given the current situation of the lakes.

Nice cat! we used to use 3/4" cotton rope for a stringer when we fished the salt end of Rosy when I lived up there. It is amazing how they will chew through thing, I've even had them get off Mule Tape.
