Camper help

Post by Lobo2087 »

I reckon I didnt think this through and it is beginning to sink in, come October 16 I will be in unit 7 hunting elk until the 24th then on Nov 1 i will start an deer hunt through the 10th.

It is starting to sink in that after my 5th spine surgery I am not sure how this body will handle 2+ weeks in a tent on a cot.

That said, i am hoping someone would consider letting me use a bumper pull camper.... i promise no pooping or cooking in it and as I dont have a bunch of cash on hand I would be willing to put up an older 30.06 I have, it is an eddystone which was sported into a hunting rifle a long time ago. Good looking solid rifle has some honest wear to the metal but it appears to be a nice rifle, i have not shot it. I will also make sure if I get any meat to ensure you get a good taste.

That or I could offer the rifle and an unfired ksg in trade if someone has one they just want to get rid of for that. I know the cash value is lower on my end but its what I have to offer

Bummer. Very sorry to hear about your back.
If you don't find a camper, think about an air mattress as an alternative to a cot.

I know that my wife and purchase a bed setup from walmart. It isnt in the camping section. They are fold up beds and have a nice 2 or 3 inch foam to them. Actually pretty comfortable. Total cost was like 80 bucks. I believe they are listed as spare bed or folding bed for visitors.
