Apache Trail

I hope this is the right place.
Undoubtedly some of you know already, but the road from Goldfields to Tortilla Flat has been repaved.
It's been in pretty bad shape for some time and is now in great shape; no problem for cars and bikes.

Funny you mention it, we took the kayaks to Canyon lake today.

Sure is a heck of an improvement.

Is it a little wider now? I haven’t been out there in years.

I heard they were going to put up barriers on those twisties near Canyon Lake where people kept going straight instead of turning... :naughty:

Yup, nice ride now, just avoid it like Coronavirus on Sat and Sun due to the 5 mph snowbirds going out for lunch at Tortilla Flat.

It's a great ride especially after the repaving! Can't wait for them to open the rest of the trail all the way to the dam.

I don't know that I noticed any new guard rails but they did put about 8 billion new signs and little reflector posts which for a camera happy guy ... Kinda sucks.
