TAKE ENOUGH GUN
About 40 years ago I was in the interior of Alaska with my brother doing a bit of fishing near Lake Louise. We were camped at one of the thousands of small lakes with no name fishing for Grayling. I had pulled in 3 or 4 & figured I would try my luck at another small lake a couple hundred yards off.

I packed up my fishing rod & started to hike to the other lake with my .357 Blackhawk on my side. I got about halfway there when I started to see a bunch of baby moose bones scattered about. I got to think about it & decided that my trusty .357 probably wasn't going to do a whole bunch against a determined, hungry griz...

I turned back to the relative safety of camp & a Winchester Mod 12 loaded with 12 gauge deer slugs...

OBTW xerts... You can keep your apostrophe, it is not needed... 8-)

There's something fishy about the poster from the 7-11. Unless that bear kept helping himsefl on one shift, it almost seems like the narrator kept luring it in order to film this click-bait. There is one scene where the door is propped open by a bundle of packaged firewood they sell!

I saw that and wondered about it too, don't think the bear propped it open.

Here's a pucker factor of 9.5

Imagine just minding your own business climbing some rocks, trying to enjoy the wilderness, and having to choose between falling off the mountain or fighting a bear bare-handed.

While its easy to be an arm chair captain in this situation, I would hope it would occur to me to grab a big rock and at least give the bear a headache for his trouble.
