Spots for a family day

This is the place to talk about general outdoor activities like fishing, off-roading, hiking, camping, hunting, mountain climbing, etc...

Seven Springs is a short drive. small stream, some hiking, decent shade. It's a developed campsite, with tables, fire rings and bathroom facilities.

If you want to drive a couple hours out, Christopher Creek is decent family camp area, too.

It shows you are in Surprise. Are you aware of the gigantic Rio Vista Park on T-bird, JUST west of the 101?

Water splash area perfect for the tikes, ducks in the ponds, fishing, playground equipment to the Nth degree, cookout grills, etc etc.

Yeah we go to rio vista often, Seven springs sounds like a good spot to get out of town nd spend an afternoon.
