Looking for areas to hunt coyote, and maybe help any land owners if needed.

Pick any open desert and call. They’re thick this year and most are healthier than normal.

I'm another that's itching to go out and try this, my question is-are there still companies that buy the fur or do you leave them for the buzzards? In other words what should you do with the carcass?

Save the hide and tan it.
Leave the carcass.

I recall reading that coyote were one of the few that you were allowed to kill them and just leave it for the cycle of life. No?

That’s right. They’re classified as predatory animals. No requirement to preserve anything.

We had a guy on another forum, his user name was "professionalcoyotehunter" and he swore that the meat made some of the best jerky he ever had.

Too bad firing your weapon within town limits is a no-no otherwise I would be all set. This is right in our driveway directly in front of the garage door and it is a least an every other day/night occurence:

Easy. Inflation isn’t that bad yet.

Large caliber air rifle would be the answer.
