proper fishing attire ?

This is the place to talk about general outdoor activities like fishing, off-roading, hiking, camping, hunting, mountain climbing, etc...

proper fishing attire ?

I like the idea of fishing. Have tried unsuccessfully to fish and even owned a boat and gear but the fish didn't care.

Not being remotely good at it ... I wonder is it the attire

I actually cover up completely, long sleeves, long pants, even wear socks under my crocs. Also a large brimmed hat too. That said this is more to save your eyes than to keep the sun off me.
