Have had a couple of those residing here over the years, and we happily leave them alone to get the job done. Haven't seen one in a while. I think the reason is because we have had more people with horses move in to the hood, and hay attracts more rodents, and more rodents attracts the snakes. So our little patch is no longer the most bountiful feed trough on the street. My neighbor across the way complains all the time about finding rattlers all over his property. Since I have a free-roaming dog, I'd rather not deal with that.
