Unoffical - Official 🔔 RJ Needs to Have “The BBQ”

So I was searching the topics and found “Planning Forum for Organizing Events”

Figured this would be a good place for the BBQ thread I unofficially put myself in charge of starting.

@knockonit can you hear me?

Cool... Doc you are now in charge...
When you find the shooting spot that is within a 1-2 hour drive from Greenway and I17 and can handle 25-35 pick-ups (and normal cars).. please notify knockonit... Trust me.. he will respond.

oh does this bring back the memories of the chuck wagon machinegun shoot out at Miller road years ago. Wish my memory was better, I know we had a helicopter visit along with DPS and the MCSO show up. It was such a blast, so many good people, weapons, and fun! I know Derek was there, someone brought a food prep trailer. Too many gray cells gone. Maybe it was Mark who brought the trailer?

Yeah, I do, been looking for a spot we can get cars or at least pick ups into without issue, sure do miss having these like we used to, always fun to meet new individuals who enjoy shooting and bullshiteing, and eat meat.

Have a new couple places close that i need to see if i can drag trailer into and if i can get trailer in , well most likely cars can do it or at least pick ups.
happy saturday, soon, very soon

Okay. I think I found a spot but it’s out near Globe. Is that too far?

Yea, pretty sure that's out of the range we want to travel, but, maybe that's just me.

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

I agree. There are places closer than Globe, that are further than most want to travel.

north side of i-10 /watson rd, waaaay back in the early 2000s.
Yup, gunplumber / mark graham was doing the food
Those shoots were always a good time. My dad would start working on targets nearly 2 months ahead of the shoot.
The running push mower ending in flames was always fun lol.

The getsum shoots were great and the food was even better. Some shots of the old days.. believe this is 2008.

Shooting off Watson?! We might as well talk about $1/gal gas and Bruce Jenner being a man because all of that is gone forever.

How about 355th Ave/ I-10 area? Some of you already know that shooting area. We could get a lot of cars out there.

Globe would be great for all of us on the East Side.

I think there's a good spot off of Seven Springs Road. It's about a half-mile from the main road, and it should fit plenty of cars. I believe it's about 45 minutes to an hour from Cave Creek and the 101.

FYI; CG's range can be rented or just taken over :D BBQ are happening there at times. might be a bit small for the PHX group. Remember the old AZS group having a event their years back & worked out well. Yea it was a take over event. Opens @ 7, closes @ sunset.
