Headed that way in a few minutes. I think it’s all “outdoors” in tents. Should be a dumpster fire. I’ll report back in a little bit.

It’s a cluster %icky to get in. 20 minutes to get a ticket, 30 minutes in line to get in the front gate. Parking in nearly full. Miwall line is 45-60 minutes. Powder prices are just slightly above normal.

A guy just overloaded his dolly and the tire blew...everyone thought it was a gun shot. That was fun.

Here now. Be thankful for the guns you already have at the price you purchased them. The private sales are actually the reasonably priced guns.

I'm debating going tomorrow. If it's this big of a cluster during a weekday, I can only imagine how bad it'll be tomorrow.
Re: SAR Show 12/4 Thru 12/6
Is it in buildings or just the tents?

Are there tents in the parking lot?
What were ammo prices at Miwall like?

Just to clarify, they aren't using any of the buildings at all?
If not, what is the main gate since the location of the vendors is now where the lines to the ticket booths and gate used to be?

NO BUILDINGS....ALL TENTS. They took all the southern parking lot, put up a fence, and that is where the tents are at. Maybe half the normal amount of vendors. No beef jerky guy, and I didn't see a single AR-15 lower that I would buy...only 80% bull sh!t and ATI Omni Hybrid polymer lowers. I did see one guy selling Anderson stripped lowers for $95. I was after another Aero Precision lower, didn't see a single one.
Miwall is limiting small pistol primers to 100; but large rifle primers were no limit. No limit on powder. I picked up 2 lbs of H4350 @ 31.95ea and 1k Fed GM210M primers @ 87.95. Primer prices are insane; most of the 100's were in the $8-9$ range, for all primer types.
J&G was selling Wolf 9mm for $589/1k rd case, S&B for $689/1k rd case. No one was buying it.
I only glanced and Miwall ammo prices, Winchester white box 115gr 9mm was $589/1k.

@QuietM4 thank you for the detailed SITREP. I'm going to skip this one this year. It'll be the first SAR show I have not attended in 20 years.
I can't believe the prices on primers. That is insane. I wonder if Miwall and J&G will lower prices on Sunday so they don't have to load all that sh*t back up.

By the look of the nearly 30 minute line just to get reloading components, the ammunition line looked to be at least 60-90 minute range. One Miwall employee helps one person in line. Only looked like 5-7 employees on the ammo side, 2 guys on the reloading side. Not much powder left, more than half the stock is gone already, looked the same on the ammo side.Mr_Maim wrote: ↑December 4th, 2020, 9:12 pm @QuietM4 thank you for the detailed SITREP. I saw people get called up, then pull out the cell phone to call all his buddies to ask what they wanted. Lots of people willing to pay $600 for 9mm fmj.
Wouldn’t surprise me if JG lowered their prices...they are high, which is saying a lot considering the market right now.
$45-$55 50 rd boxes of 9mm fmj was the norm at other tables.
