Re: Ben Avery small-bore silhouette range?
So I got a response back from Ben Avery. I was told to find a group that has access, as there is no Public Access. Guess that means I'm right back where I started.

Re: Tavor vs AUG
I have been running my x95 with the ASR flashhider, but I ended up removing the jam nut per silencerco's recommendation. I snugged it to the shoulder and secured with rocksett. I put about 150 rounds though it successfully. Thanks for the tip on the left ejection port cover.

Re: Anyone know Greystone Firearms? He has a suppressor I paid for..
Seeing them means nothing, I saw "mine" too, those were clearly resold. He's full of crap, and knew what he was doing. You can't resell the same item over and over by mistake. He compounded that with lies about "Heather" fixing errors, and two bad "refunds" that were de...

Re: How did you get started in reloading? How do I?
338lapua, thank you for the amount of time and detail you put into that post. Congratulations on your success. To be frank, your recommendation is much more in line with what I do with most purchases. I would rather buy the machine or product I expect to have in the end, and force myself more rapidl...

Re: How did you get started in reloading? How do I?
Gentleman, thank you all for the in-depth responses. I'm going to get a book first, and spend some time reading so that I understand the equipment that I'm buying.
I'm really looking forward to starting a new hobby, that can be taught to future generations. Thanks again everyone.

Re: How did you get started in reloading? How do I?
Thanks - you're right, I was considering cost per round, but not factoring initial setup cost. Still, as a hobby, and something to pass to my son it sounds worth it.

Re: How did you get started in reloading? How do I?
Awesome! Thank you for the very thorough response. I think I will put a post up on my neighborhood forum and see if anyone near me reloads that might give me a walkthrough of the way your buddy did. Unfortunately none of my friends here reload. Here's another question, I often see reloading setups f...

How did you get started in reloading? How do I?
As the topic states, I would really like to learn how to reload. I shoot with enough frequency that I believe it would be cost-effective, and even more importantly I believe it would be a good activity for my son and I to do together. So, how did you get started in reloading, and how do you recommen...

Re: Do you have a current valid AZ CCW/CWP
Agreed, I like to see it, but not a deal breaker if you're not sketchy. I always need an AZ I'd flashed my way, but I'm not interested in collecting info from either document, just keeping square with the law.

Re: Ben Avery small-bore silhouette range?
Thank you. Are you aware of any existing clubs or groups that I might join? Not sure I have a large enough group to make the insurance affordable.

Ben Avery small-bore silhouette range?
Every time I go to Ben Avery, I can't help but wonder how you get access to the small-bore silhouette range? I have asked the folks working in pistol range office as well as the Clay's field if they know how to gain access to the small bore silhouette, and the response is always the same "you h...

Re: Glock or XD
I have both, and while there are differences such as the grip safety on the XD, don't find them vastly different. I will say, that prior to the Dual recoil spring in the Gen 4 Glocks, the XD in anything above 9 mm seem to have lower recoil, though the early XD had horrible triggers. If you are new t...
