Re: 22-250 rifles

I have a Savage FV 26" 12 twist (or is it 14?) left over from those days... I've been thinking of either selling it off or installing the 260 rem barrel I have for it... now I might reconsider and see what suitable projectiles I have laying around..

Re: reaming 223 to Wylde

I guess I will just live with it as the 50-53gr are like lasers in that gun and I don't want to mess with that... The 60gr Vmax is a nice varmint bullet and approximates other popular bullets that cost a lot more.

24.6gr of TAC will work... The velocities are nothing to get excited about...

Re: Holosun questions

Thanks, it appears the 507 series may be the one I should be looking at instead of the 407 series. K or C will take a little more thought... I noticed that some of their stock pics have the base mount attached, while the 407's don't have any, so they look smaller. I have a Sight-Mark Mini Shot on a ...

Re: reaming 223 to Wylde

Thanks for that reply... My rifle is 1:12 unfortunately. I'm surprised it shoots the 60gr V-Max as well as it does. Case trimming is always a time consuming operation for me. I tend to go short and let them grow a little then they seem to stop. I too prefer Wylde and the AI thought came about as an ...

Re: Holosun questions

the circle is used mainly in CQB... say at room distance... or on safari at charging elephants. this thread is a few months old... has anyone come out with any alternatives or improvements to the Holosun? I really like my 510C, it's clear and I have no issues at all. I'm now thinking about getting t...

That cart on CL does look like it's up for the job, also a bit big and awkward to load into the back of the pickup (empty).

it may be simple assault but IMO it is not at the level of lethal -fearing for your life... I don't know Colorado laws but he (the shooter) could have retreated and avoided the conflict. From what I have read, although Colorado doesn't have a duty-to-retreat law, their stand-your-ground law only app...

Static positions are not defensible for very long... even in olden days castles and cities came under siege and eventually fell. Your bunker may keep you safe from the zombie hordes but not from the govt for very long... at best it is an extended stay Custer's last stand... Anaconda ring any bells? ...
