Re: Hawaii allows CCW, but bans guns in most places

The liberals in Hawaii gov worked hard to prevent you from carrying most anyplace you could not before Bruen:

Inside your house.

Nyah, nyah, thought you could CCW in a meaningful way? We fixed your ass.

Sounds like it is optimized for archery ballistics, not firearms.

Re: Electronic Safe Keypads & EMP event

The Gamma radiation doesn’t do the damage to electrical devices. It does rip electrons off you and me but ionizing radiation doesn’t destroy electronics. It’s the electromagnetic field that damages the electronics. yep, the induced currents blow stuff like a fuse popping. <snip> I’ll be busy gettin...

Re: Electronic Safe Keypads & EMP event

I wonder how the test these? Would it be a similar scenario to an actual EMP event? There has to be a difference between a solar event and a manmade EMP. So the testing has to be legit. The intensity of gamma radiation from a nuke in space certainly is not producible in a lab. This outfit does do t...

I sold it the next day.
As a prospective bolt gun buyer, what about the Mossberg was off?
have to admit i like the MVP concept, but yet to handle one.

I really lust after a MRAD like my neighbor has, but far out of my price range.

Re: Electronic Safe Keypads & EMP event

Note they do not claim what energy density they were tested to, vs. what the military test is. There are a lot of different levels, depending on what the hardware is, and what level of shielding is present to start with. May indeed be the same lab. Without the standard and level tested to, does not ...

Re: Electronic Safe Keypads & EMP event

The battery has nothing to do with EMP failures.

The failure comes from a current surge caused by the EMP, which can burn out semiconductors.
This is why old tube type electronics are immune.

Re: Cannon Safe Input Issue

My Cannon safe is acting a bit weird. When I input my code (yes I am inputting my code correctly) the keypad sometimes accepts it and sometimes it won't. Mechanical dial locks get weird too. Had a less that one year old Liberty safe suddenly decide to ignore a properly entered combo. Some judicious...

Re: I got my Console Vault yesterday

I got one a while back for my 4Runner. Went with the standard barrel key, otherwise would have to fish around for reading glasses to to read the combo. Wife like being able to stash her stuff when needed. Wish the inner sides had some minimaist lining. Install was two bolts out, new ones in. No jigg...

The way these things usually turn out, no way in hell do you want pics of the suspect.

Eye trauma, it was.

Had a spare short barrel upper separate from a rifle length ar and still caught the charge and conviction.
So where was this "machine gun" he was allegedly in possession of?

I know POF makes or made a completer piston AR10 rifle.

Never seen a piston kit for the big block AR, might be in the market for one if Adams or other solid company makes one.
