Re: Gunbroker issue

True , most Post offices won't have enough money to cash a large money order. ( Apparently just about anything over $100 is a large money order. ) The good thing about USPS money orders is that , even if they don't have the money , they can verify if it is fake or not . Then you can always take it t...

Re: Gunbroker issue

If you sent it regular mail , it might not be there yet . When I send any kind of payment , it goes priority mail so I have a tracking number. I sold a gun on gun broker several years ago and requested a money order as payment. The buyer sent it regular mail, but I never received it. He contacted US...

Re: Ukraine Bound

With all the billions of dollars we have sent them , do you think for one minute this measly amount of guns is going to make a difference ? Not to mention , it is just some hodgepodge of guns that are not worth the expense to ship them there. They will do anything they can to keep them from honest A...

Re: Bear and cougar shootings

Several years ago I shot a javelina that bit me.
The Game and Fish picked it up and had it checked for rabies.
A couple months later they left me a message with the results.
The test came back negative , of course I already had that one figured out by then.

Re: WE NEED YOU

I haven't responded because I really don't know what I could add. Other than shooting trap and skeet , the only times I have been to an established shooting range was in the military and that was over 40 years ago. Other than that , I have never fired a pistol or rifle at an established shooting ran...

Re: Any viable alternatives to Gunbroker ?

I have both bought and sold on gunbroker and have never had a problem. When it comes to collectables or high dollar guns , to get the most response and money , gunbroker is the best option I have found. I have offered guns for sale locally with no responses at all. Then put the same gun on gunbroker...

Re: Talk to me about ranger finders

Unless you want to spend lots of money , they all work about the same. Just different features and modes on them. A friend of mine has one like you are looking at and it works fine. The people I hunt and shoot with have used them all at one time or another , and they all read about the same. I have ...

Re: Ruger American Predator 223

I also bought a new Mossberg MVP a few years ago , and hated it. I sold it the next day. As a prospective bolt gun buyer, what about the Mossberg was off? have to admit i like the MVP concept, but yet to handle one. I really lust after a MRAD like my neighbor has, but far out of my price range. I b...

I have one also.I have shot it a lot and like it.
I haven't done anything to it except put a Leupold scope on it.
It a fun gun to shoot. I really like it.

It will be fine to shoot clays or hunt with.
Personally I would leave it as is.

For the money they are asking , I would rather spend my money on an older S&W or Ruger.
