Maybe Birdsong "Black-T" (if he's still around)?

Re: holster recommendations
LOL, you guys keep buying those expensive ass holsters, I'll stay with a $15 Ebay special with a 5mm Neoprene koozie on it. Just a few things: 1. "Expensive" is a relative term. For many, spending +/- $75 on a quality custom-fit holster for a $800+ gun isn't really a wallet-buster. Person...

Re: Who to have Cerakote a pistol
$250 to spray & bake a pistol? Let Wright's do their magnificent Np3+ for a little bit more. Yeah, $250 is a bit steep, especially if that's only single-color. Wright or Valley Forge should be able to do it for +/- $100 less. A huge +1 for NP3+ if you can swing it. Had a couple done when Robar ...

Re: holster recommendations
Make sure you get a holster for designed specifically for AIWB, there must be 10 solid choices nationwide. I have a Spencer Keepers, but you cant go wrong with JM Custom kydex, PHLster, or Dark Star Gear. There's more, but I can't recall quickly off the top of my head. Listen to the top trainers ou...

No idea on the wide price delta, other than supply/demand/back-log/etc.

Re: Help me choose an LVPO in 2021
I figured the most a guy could spend was $1500 For +/- $1500 (new/retail), I'd look at the Trijicon Credo 1-8x. It's the updated/improved version of the AccuPower. Or, if you are OK with pre-owned, I'd probably look for a used Nightforce NX8 1-8x. Both illuminated FFP reticles, and available in MOA...

Re: Streamlight vs Olight
Im a bit of a Streamlight whore myself, I have 6. If one ever breaks I might give Olight a shot. Same. Owned several SLs over the years. Never had a single failure. Only difference is that if one of them ever did break, I'd probably just replace it with another SL. 8-) Certified SL fan-boi pic: 202...

Re: Plastic sigs?
Which one is the Civilian version of the Military contract gun? The M17 / M18 is based on the Sig P320 / P320 Carry platform, with a handful of differences between them. However, Sig now offers "civilian" models of the M17 / M18 P320, which include the features of the .mil guns (including...

Re: Plastic sigs?
The 365 series has certainly had a strong market entry, as has the "sub compact" category as a whole. Nothing "super" special about them, but they do check quite a few boxes. Just a few, that piqued my interest enough to grab a couple: * Small form factor (great EDC) w/ good ergo...

Re: Red Dot on a handgun .. any regrets?
As you shoot it becomes easier to acquire the sight. Yep, red dots are faster/easier, especially for those with "ageing" eyes. And yep, there is a learning/training curve. A couple other things to add: Within reason, a larger dot is generally better for most (pistol) applications, IMO. Th...

I guess for the guys who got to have to get more little gold stars on their man cards maybe it is big deal. There are guys who get dirty and do dangerous stuff at work and at play. These guys know guns are tools Then there the guys who want people to believe they get dirty. You know, the guys who s...
