Re: Factory second Bullets
I’ve used seconds from Nosler. It used to be a less expensive way to get trigger time in with their accubond/partition bullets in hunting rifles. Besides one broken tip in an ABLR, I never saw any difference between the seconds and firsts. The shortage has run up the price on seconds and it’s just n...

Re: Lagging FFL transfers
That’s not exactly true. A retailer has to have nexus in the state in order to be required to collect sales tax. Up until a few years ago that meant some sort of physical presence in the state. The SC overturned that decades-old case and now nexus can be established through a sufficient amount of bu...

Re: What to do with Reloads?
Selling reloads originally made for personal use after there’s no longer a personal use isn’t illegal, regardless of whether or not there is a profit. I think the quote posted above from the FAQ makes that clear (livelihood AND profit). I do think you need to weigh whatever proceeds you expect from ...

And because I could not help myself... Re: AMMO PRICES!!!
I just wish they would go back to the old system of pay your money and stay as long as you want. I can see why it had to change though. I mean 7$ all day isn't really viable I would imagine these days, and if you book two sessions (180 minutes) it is still half the price of only an hour at an indoo...

Re: AMMO PRICES!!!
It is painful, and no matter what is said, it feels intentional. I don’t accept that everything has skyrocketed; I feel everything has been skyrocketed, if that even makes grammatical sense. Now where did I leave my foil hat..? On a ranked list of tin foil hat s*** that gets posted on this board, t...

Re: Boycott Visa for their plans to categorize gun sales
Do you really think the CC company didn’t know it was a gun store until now?

Re: Boycott Visa for their plans to categorize gun sales
It’s been well documented how good CC companies are at building profiles on their customers, so it’s highly unlikely that this is going to tell them anything new. It’s just something else for both sides to use to create content to generate revenue and fundraise off of.

Re: Boycott Visa for their plans to categorize gun sales
That makes no phukn sense, you’re telling me when aunt Emma goes and buys gift cards at Cabelas for all the favorite nephews the credit card company is going to categorize that purchase under the same code as a firearm purchase or ammo purchase It’s a MERCHANT category code, not an item category co...

Re: Boycott Visa for their plans to categorize gun sales
It’s not item level, it’s merchant level. Whether you purchase gift cards from XYZ sporting goods or guns and ammo from XYZ sporting goods it’ll be classified the same way. You would have to buy the prepaid Visa/Amex/Mastercard cards that cost you a premium and the processor still gets their merchan...

Re: Boycott Visa for their plans to categorize gun sales
My charge card has a cash advance, just like using the Visa card. I will take a cash advance and use that to purchase my 'tools'. And then pay it back just like using my card. Most cards, well every card I’ve ever read the agreement, charge the interest on a cash advance immediately, not on the unp...
