I never really count the rounds fired,
but when selling a gun I will give a believable round count if I am asked.

Yes they got the idea from the Germans, but a lot of the engineering had to do with adapting it to the changing Russian manufacturing methods. i.e. milled and stamped receivers.

Some took a week or two turn around and others a month or two.
Just depends on how backed up they are.

As a side note I returned an RMR like Superduty mentioned and they
would not do a thing for me and returned it as is.
No bid to repair or replace it, just returned it.

I have sent 6 various Trijicon scopes in for repair that were all purchased used. Half the time they have did a wonderful job for free and the rest of the time they wanted more than the scope was worth. So roll the dice and send your scope in and see what happens. My guess is it depends on the perso...

IMO the machined section needs to be finished with something to prevent rust.
Agreed that cold blue is an easy choice. Cerakote works too.
I too don't see the need to refinish the entire slide.

That is an old story that died years ago.
The only Army that I know that purchased 6.8spc guns and ammo was the country of Jordan's.
